Hey Whatsup you guys? I’m Max, founder of Mr. Max Guitar in Redondo Beach, California.

 

Mr. Max Guitar is a music school offering Guitar, Bass, Piano and Ukulele lessons to students of All Levels and Ages! Our teachers are thoroughly vetted, all with many years of experience teaching and performing.

 

At Mr. Max Guitar we will teach you the foundational knowledge and skills you’ll need to realize your potential as a musician. We'll break down concepts in a way that’s fun and easy to understand and get you making music on your very first lesson! Lessons are personalized to align with your goals.

• Private 1-on-1 sessions

• Tabs and lesson videos after each lesson to help with your practice

• Learning your Favorite Songs • Learning Rock, Blues, Metal, Punk, Reggae, Jazz Folk etc. – any combo of styles you’d like!

• Improvisation/Jamming • Soloing and Rhythm techniques

• Learning about gear (guitars, pedals, amps etc.) • Music Theory (if you’re interested)

• Songwriting (if you’re interested)

• Recording/Music Production (if you’re interested)

 

About Me: I’m a USC-educated guitarist  with 20+ years of guitar playing experience and 15 years of music education experience. I worked directly with Marty Schwartz (Youtube's biggest guitar teacher) from 2019-2021 , which really took my understanding of music education to the next level. I learned how to break down seemingly complex concepts into simple steps that students can easily absorb and build upon- all while keeping things light and fun.

 

As a musician, I’ve played thousands of shows with various bands of different genres, worked with Grammy Award Winning producers and players, worked as a session guitar player for major labels and written and produced music for TV/Film and Ads.
